Matt grew up in Illinois and returned to Chicago after completing his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry. Exploring careers ranging from technology, to law, to hospitality, he found his calling in medicine and pursued a master’s in biomedical science. A passion for teaching emerged in medical school, fostering a commitment to education that has remained a focal point throughout his training.
Drawn to Cincinnati’s fellowship program for its comprehensive exposure to all facets of clinical training, Matt appreciates the unique blend of rigorous medical practice with ample opportunities to continue his involvement in medical education.
In his free time, he enjoys running, biking, and exploring the Cincinnati restaurant scene though he has so far avoided the chili.
