Taming the Basics of Critical Care
As the COVID-19 pandemic put strains on the health care system, our department was tasked with giving a crash course in critical care basics to non-ICU providers who might be asked to work in the ICU in a crisis situation. This video series, originally recorded by Dr. Lenz and then-PGY-5 Alex Garbarino and posted to the UC Internal Medicine Residency’s “Silver Fridge” website, is designed to briefly introduce core critical care topics. It’s a good place to start before your first ICU rotation.
