Humna is originally from Pakistan. After completing her medical school in Karachi she moved to Houston, Texas, to pursue residency in Internal Medicine. It was the combination of a collegial learning environment along with excellent clinical training in all aspects of pulmonary critical care that persuaded Humna to move to Cincinnati. Two years down the line she has zero regrets about leaving the warm south!
Humna's clinical and research interests lie in pulmonary vascular disease, specifically pulmonary hypertension and acute right heart failure.
In her spare time Humna enjoys trying out new restaurants, reading, running and exploring the many beautiful trails around Cincinnati.
